I-CARE and I-RECOVER Treatment Protocol for COVID-19

A recent article plublished by Professor Paul Marik from the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), https://covid19criticalcare.com/ , outlines the most up to date reserch about the prevention and management of COVID-19, both in the home and in hosptal settings.

The protocols have been updated to reflect new information regarding different stages of treatment. They are now known as I-Prevent, I-Care and I-Recover. The basic premise is that COVID-19 is a very complicated disease with multiple modes of action when it comes to disease and so each component needs to be managed to give the patient thge best chance of manageing the progression and severity of the disease. The I-Recover protocol is also used to help heal patients from adverse vaccine reactions.

Prevention and early intervention is crucial, the stronger your immune system, the more likely an infection will be ealiy handled by the body. It's like doing a pre-season in sport, it's too late once the season starts, you need to be well prepared.

Some key steps people can take include:

1. Ensuring you get plenty of sleep so you're not run down

2. Supplementing with key nutrients such as Vitamin D, Vitamin C and Zinc

3. Reduce co-mobidities such as excessive weight, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. This includes excessive consumption of alcohol, smoking and poor quality food which is either processed or high in sugar, to help reduce inflammation in the body.

It is improtant to stick to the facts regarding COVID management and keep yourself as informaed as possible. If a claim can't be backed up with credible evidence, it's best to take it with a grain of salt. Try to keep it simple and remeber to consult your GP if you have any concerns.
