How many appointments will I need?
Our approach is to give our patients the best possible outcome and so the number of appointments is quite varied, depending on the presenting complaint. Your practitioner will outline the treatment plan, appointment frequency and treatment goals, based on your diagnosis. Most patients have a follow-up appointment within the first 3-5 days, this allows us to assess your progress and make any changes to your management to help you recover as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Subsequent appointments are scheduled based on your level of improvement. We try and see you again when your pain has plateaued or just before your symptoms worsen. This allows a better and more consistent improvement in symptoms.
Ongoing appointments will be discussed based on your individual presentation, however, the aim is to help you as quickly as possible. We aim to help you completely resolve your presenting complaint, or at least, significantly reduce the severity, frequency and duration of your symptoms. We encourage lifestyle and diet changes as well as a home exercise or managemnt program. At that point, most patients make periodic appointments for prevention or maintenance, as required.
How do I book an appointment?
The easiest way is to book an appointment online - HERE. Our system is easy to use and will provide you with an email confirmation which has a link if you want to cancel online, plus you get an SMS reminder the day before your appointment.

How long are the appointments?
Initial Appointments typically take about 30 mins
Follow-up appointments between 20-30 mins
You can claim your health insurance rebate on the spot with HICAPS and only pay the gap. Check that your health fun covers Osteopathy and participates with HICAPS.
You can also download the HICAPS Go app on your phone, sign up for an account with MEDIPASS, input your health insurance details and a credit card and make payments through your phone. **Not all health funds are participating, so check the MEDIPASS website for details.
If you have a Primary Care Plan from your GP, you can claim on the spot and only pay the gap.

Worksafe and TAC
Worksafe and TAC patients will need to pay for the appointment and claim the benefit from your insurance company or TAC directly.
